About Us

The law firm of Strike, Goodwin & O'Brien was founded in 1997 and is located in Portland, Maine. Our firm specializes in criminal law, representing and advising clients in the areas of constitutional criminal law, all manners of misdemeanor and felony offenses, federal white-collar crimes, domestic violence and drunk driving. We represent individuals accused of a crime at every level of the Maine state and federal court systems.

Because of our small size and experienced staff, all of our clients receive individual attention. Our attorneys are dedicated to the client's best interest. It is the client that drives the case, and not the attorney who drives the client. Our attorneys communicate effectively and demonstrate the strictest personal and professional ethics as well as the utmost concern for our clients.

Our seven attorneys have over 20 years of combined criminal prosecutorial experience in State court and over 50 years of combined experience as criminal litigators. In addition to this level of knowledge and experience, our attorneys are continually adding to their knowledge base through Continuing Legal Education seminars and conferences.

Our attorneys are also active in the legal community and are members of the American Bar Association, the Maine State Bar Association and the Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
