Mr. Moynihan returned to Strike, Goodwin & O’Brien as an attorney in 2009. Prior to joining SGO as an attorney, Mr. Moynihan completed a one-year clerkship with Justices Carl O. Bradford, G. Arthur Brennan, Roland A. Cole, and Paul A. Fritzsche, all of the Maine Superior Court.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Moynihan worked in the state legislature for the Joint Standing Committee on Business, Research & Economic Development. Mr. Moynihan then earned his J.D. cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law. While attending Maine Law, Mr. Moynihan served as a member of the Student Bar Association, practiced as a student attorney for the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, and was a teaching assistant for the Legal Writing and Research Program. During law school, Mr. Moynihan also worked with Strike, Goodwin & O’Brien as an intern and trial assistant.
Mr. Moynihan is a graduate of Stonehill College in North Easton Massachusetts, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and played rugby.
